The Theatre building has a large span hall with expressed steel framed structure. The steel framed roof extends out beyond to enclose surrounding corridors and link with low rise classroom, studio and changing facilities adjacent.
The building links directly to an existing two story building which has also been adapted to form dance studios with special flooring and mirrored walls.
W&A were employed by the Design and Build Contractor to provide detail design and production information for construction in accordance with the Employers Requirements developed by the Client’s retained design team.
This scheme demonstrates our ability to interpret the requirements of the Client brief and develop construction information under the tight constraints of the contractors construction programme, maintaining the flow of information whilst demonstrating compliance to the satisfaction of the Clients Design Team.
