The Technical Team

David is the primary point of contact and co-ordinator within the practice through all stages of each project.  He will act as the focal point of communication with the Client and other team members and will be our representative at briefing, project review and design team meetings. David has extensive and varied experience of Civil / Structural Engineering including  Schools, Hospitals, Theatres, Mental Health Units, Housing, Offices, Steel Framed Structures and Warehousing.


Martyn is an Incorporated Civil Engineer with over 20 years experience working on various aspects of Civil Engineering, including land surveying, building surveys, local infrastructure & drainage design.

Martyn is the Engineer responsible for project coordination, detailed design, planning and technical development for the civil aspects for both commercial and private clients.


A Chartered  Engineer and  Member of the ICE, Henrique has a wide and varied experience of building structures both with the private and public sector. He has experience of design using all the major materials, concrete, steel, masonry and timber using the latest codes of practice.

Scott is our Graduate Technician. Scott’s main role is as support for other leading members of staff. He is experienced in 3D modelling as well as 2D draughting for both civils and structural disciplines.

Scott is responsible for our in house BIM clash detection, ensuring coordination errors are flagged up and rectified before being encountered on site.

He has proven himself to be valuable member of the team whilst working hard to support others.



Don Macdonald

Don is involved in project co-ordination, detailed design, planning and technical development on a wide variety of projects.

Don has many years of in depth experience of structural engineering design and detailing.


Chris McCann

Senior Design Technician/ Technical Manager

Chris has vast structural experience and is responsible for the management of CAD design and detail drawing development. This ensures that the drawing production meets the required project key milestones and that standards of CAD drafting are consistent and also maintain the high standards we expect to achieve.
